BAKERSFIELD, CA. — The VA Bakersfield Community-Based Outreach Clinic is holding an open house for veterans from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3rd at 1801 Westwind Drive, Bakersfield, CA 93301.
Veterans and family members can receive information about VA specialty programs, local job opportunities and healthcare enrollment.

There will be free lunch for any veteran and family member that attends the open house.
“We’re trying to be innovative in bringing special opportunities to our Veterans such as a job resource fair. Veterans can meet directly with the staff who help recruit and outreach for vacant positions,” said Green.
