The Kern County Sheriff's Office has identified the victim from a fatal traffic collision on Chester Avenue and Richland Street as 23-year-old Samuel Carlos Nunez De La Luz.

The motorcycle versus vehicle crash happened at around 9:55 a.m. on Friday.

Nunez De La Luz was pronounced dead at the scene.
