BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The victim of a stabbing in Central Bakersfield has been identified.
According to BPD, 57-year-old Willie Earl Davis of Bakersfield was stabbed in the 100 block of T Street around 10 p.m. on December 20. He was taken to Kern Medical where he later died.
A postmortem examination was conducted and the cause of death was a stab wound to his chest. Davis' death is being investigated as a homicide.
