BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — We now know the name of the motorcyclist who was struck and killed by a vehicle in north Bakersfield last Sunday, May 28.

The Kern County Sheriff's Office identified the man as 62-year-old Bakersfield resident Jeffrey Glenn Patterson.

Patterson was transported from the scene to Kern Medical where he later died from his injuries.
