Deziaray Zepeda was one of the four people who were killed in a deadly crash in northwest Bakersfield on Tuesday on Rosedale Highway and Nord Road. The vehicle went through a stop sign and got trapped underneath a big rig.

Zepeda was only 23-years-old and the youngest out of the four that passed away in the fatal crash.

Her father Eddie Zepeda said she had great spirits and loved her daughter dearly.

"Nobody expects to lose their daughter when they are 23-year-old," said Eddie Zepeda father of Deziaray.

He said she was a strong girl who loved art, music and had a really great heart.

"I can't even describe it in words you know they way this all feels... it's crushing... you shouldn't have to lose your daughter," said Zepeda.

Deziaray had a 7-year-old daughter named Emily and they shared a very special bond.

"Emily is always talking about her mother... always talking about her you know it's heartbreaking that she's not going to see her," said Zepeda. "Deziaray was always concerned about her daughter and her education and her not having limits and limitations in life."

The Zepeda family has set up a GOFUNDME page to help raise money for Deziarays funeral costs. Deziaray father said if they get extra money it will be used for something special to him.

"My granddaughters care... she is special needs and born with cerebral palsy," said Eddie Zepeda.

Eddie continuously said the Zepeda family will never be the same without Deziaray.

"My life will never be the same neither will Emily's I know," said Eddie. "We ae really going to miss her deeply."

His baby girl will now be his angel and the Zepeda family appreciates the condolences that have been pooring in from friends and family.
