A special educational event bringing awareness to breast cancer was held in downtown Bakersfield on Thursday night.
The free event, called "V.I.Pink", took place at the AIS Cancer Center in downtown.
All proceeds raised at the event benefit the San Joaquin Community Hospital Foundation for Cancer Research and Treatment.
