Visitation at Lerdo Facilities is canceled for this Saturday, May 12, according to the Kern County Sheriff's Office.

Normal visiting will resume at the Pre-Trial and Max-Med Facilities on Sunday, May 13. Minimum Facility inmates will visit according to the Max-Med Facility visiting schedule. KCSO asks that you check inmate housing locations and visiting schedules before visiting the Lerdo Facilities.

To check an inmate housing location, go to www.kernsheriff.org, select inmate search, and enter inmate name or booking number.

The new Kern County Justice Facility will open soon. All inmates will have visitation through video. Adult visitors will be required to pre-register through the inmate telephone service at www.videovisitanywhere.com to schedule a visit.

Video visitation online registration opens on Saturday, May 12. Visits must be scheduled a minimum of 24 hours in advance. There are no fees to register and a valid form of identification is required for visitors 16 years and older.

On-site video visitation will be open to scheduled visitors at the Justice Facility on Tuesday, May 15.
