They've been striving to keep Bakersfield beautiful for more than a decade and this morning a clean-up is happening at Beach Park.
Dozens of volunteers will pick up trash and run a recycling center at the 12th annual Make a Difference Day."
The event starts at 9:00 am.
Mayor Harvey Hall is also expected to be there lending a helping hand.
Volunteers will also be planting flowers, trees and picking up trash all across Kern County.
