PORTERVILLE, Calif. — Tulare County Sheriff’s Office has shared this shocking surveillance footage of an armed robbery at the Omega Mart in the area of 700 East Date in Porterville.

The video starts with the suspect entering the store with a shotgun before demanding cash from the clerk. After stealing the cash, the clerk was able to reach over the counter and wrestle the shotgun out of the robber’s hands.

Deputies say no one was injured during the incident.
