TEHACHAPI, Calif. — According to the city officials, a water main break has been repaired in Tehachapi after an electrical contractor ruptured the line.

The city's public information officer said on Wednesday that the water department was called out to repair the line around noon. Service to the businesses in the area of Tucker Road between Valley and Tehachapi Boulevard was disrupted for about four hours.

The city says service has been restored to the area and there was no residential disruption.
