BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — 23ABC has learned more about the man who allegedly led police on a chase near Planz Park last week.

According to court documents, Deon Hodge is a suspect connected to a pair of gang shootings. The documents show a shooting in December and one in March are linked by ballistics.

After officials tracked Hodge near the corner of Truxtun and Chester Avenue last week they attempted to pull over the car he was driving but he led them on a chase instead.

Hodge eventually got away but officers later searched his home and seized four guns including an AR 15 and a 100-round drum magazine.

Hodge is still on the loose and is considered armed and dangerous.
