BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Weatherby's Furniture in Central Bakersfield said that it is closing its doors after nearly a century in business.

On Tuesday, the furniture store confirmed with 23ABC that it plans to close down by the end of the year. No exact date has been released.

Weatherby's Furniture is located on Chester Avenue near 7th Street.
