A community meeting will be held tonight to discuss plans for a proposed shopping center in northwest Bakersfield.
It's called the Bakersfield Commons Project, proposed for a vacant lot at the corner of Coffee and Brimhall Roads, just off the Westside Parkway.
The meeting begins at 5pm at Columbia Elementary School and goes until 7pm. A second meeting will also happen Thursday morning at 9am.
