The Thomas Road Improvement Program is reminding drivers several lanes will be closed on highway 58 starting Sunday night. 

Officials said the two lanes will be closed on westbound highway 58 between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. as crews construct new sound walls.

The lanes will be closed between Union Avenue and Cottonwood Rd. Sunday night through Thursday night.

The construction is expected to take several weeks. 

Officials remind drivers to stay alert and watch for construction personnel and equipment while driving through the area.
