BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A longtime Bakersfield landmark is closing its doors Saturday. The Westchester Lanes confirmed the bowling alley will close.

On a sign posted on the bowling alley's front door read:

"Dear AMF Family and Friends: We are beginning a new journey and will be combining with the Southwest Center on 3610 Wible Rd. Sunday. November 23rd will be our lost day of business. We appreciate the many memories made here and hope to see you all at the Southwest Center."

Fortunately, it isn't all bad news as Mossman's will remain open. The restaurant plans to remodel and expand its operations at the current location.
