BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Daytime and nighttime lane closures are scheduled for the Westside Parkway starting Sunday and are scheduled to run until December 15, weather permitting.

The closures will start Sunday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and will run from Truxtun Avenue to Coffee road.

During that time, eastbound and westbound inside lanes will be closed for roadway grinding.

On Monday and Tuesday, the lanes will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for pavement sealing.

At least one lane will be open to traffic in each direction. The work is expected to be completed by December 15.

Work may be rescheduled without notice due to unforeseen circumstances.
