Starting Sunday, December 17 from 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. both directions of Westside Parkway between Mohawk Street and Truxtun Avenue will be closed.

Base concrete will be placed for new pavement at the east end of Westside Parkway, according to the contractor for the Kern River Bridge improvements.

One lane will remain open in each direction while the roads are worked on.

The night closures will remain until Thursday, December 21.
