Traffic is flowing once again on Wible Road following fire at a furniture store in Southwest Bakersfield Sunday morning.

The fire broke out just before 5 a.m.m inside Montecarlo Furniture store on 806 Wible Rd. Bakersfield Fire crews responded to find flames inside the building and burning through the roof.

BFD called in the California Highway Patrol to assist with traffic control in the area. They blocked off Wible Rd. from Belle Terrace to Wood Lane while BFD crews worked to extinguish the flames.

There were no injuries reported in the fire.
