BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A local restaurant, in southwest Bakersfield, is honoring first responders around Kern county with a free lunch on Wednesday.

A free sack lunch will be provided to on-and-off duty personnel, courtesy of Wiki's Wine Dive & Grill, in honor of National First Responders Day.

The lunch will include a Wiki's Classic Burger, chips, a cookie, gourmet potatoes and a drink.

A drive-thru option will be open for on-duty personnel from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in front of Wiki's for takeout.

The restaurant asks first responders to use the Ming Avenue entrance.

For off-duty personnel, meals can be enjoyed inside the facility or the patio area.

Proper credentials are required.

Wiki's is located at 11350 Ming Ave.
