Wildfires continue to ravage California as flames continue to rip through communities across the state.

Cal Fire officials say tens of thousands of people are displaced from their homes as firefighters work tirelessly around the clock to extinguish almost 20 fires. They say fires have burned close to 300 acres across the state.

A total of 85 Kern County firefighters are currently battling the Ferguson fire in Yosemite, as well as the Cranston fire and Carr fires.

The Carr fire has claimed the lives of six people including 70-year-old Melody Bledsoe and her two grandchildren.

KCFD says they allocate resources to the fires based on department scheduling in case a fire breaks out in Kern County.
