Wings of Rescue is out of Livermore, California has traveled to Texas to help with animals that were in animal shelters before Hurricane Harvey.

There goal is to help over 100 pets a day to transport the pets to other shelters around the United States.

There goal is to open shelter room for the incoming pets that have been impacted by Hurricane Harvey, so they can be quickly reunited with their owners.

"We need you to help us save pets who have been caught in this disaster. If everyone who sees this skips Starbucks and fast food eateries and instead donates $10 we can fly 100 pets every day this week to safety," the team wrote on their Facebook page.

The money the raise goes to the transportation efforts that gets the pets on planes and sending them to safe shelters.
