Woman arrested with stolen goods from church

Rosamond police arrested a woman who they said was in possession of several stolen goods from a church.

At about 2:10 a.m. Monday, hours deputies from the Rosamond Substation made a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Chrystal Garcia, 24, in the area of Desert and Elm streets.  

The vehicle contained stolen property from several recent thefts and burglaries, including a burglary to a church that had just occurred, deputies said. 

The deputies later learned that the vehicle was also stolen.  

Garcia was arrested and booked into the Mojave jail on several charges, including burglary, and grand theft auto

Garcia’s bail is approximately $188,000.
