Woman dies after crash in California City

CALIFORNIA CITY, Calif. — Thursday night a woman was killed after she was found pinned beneath her vehicle.

According to the California City Police Department, just before 6 p.m. officers arrived at the scene of a two-vehicle accident in the area of Redwood Blvd and 98th St. When they arrived they found the 26-year-old woman pinned beneath her vehicle.

The California City Fire Department was able to free the woman and transport her to a local hospital, but she later died from her injuries. The identity of the woman has not been released.

Drugs and or alcohol are not considered to be a factor in this accident.
