UPDATE (8:45 a.m.): The CHP has identified the woman as a 26-year-old. The driver of the car that hit her has been identified as 19-year-old Ryan Bonas.
A woman is recovering in the hospital after she was hit by a car Wednesday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the woman was driving her car on Golden State Avenue and hit the center divider.
The CHP says she got to survey the damage to her car when she was hit by another car.
She was taken to the hospital and is being treated for a broken pelvis. She's expected to survive.
No arrests were made and the driver of the other vehicle is cooperating with the investigation.
