It seems like a simple request: birthday cards for one's birthday.

But one Bakersfield woman is asking for one birthday card for each year she's been alive.

On Tuesday, Hoffman Hospice posted a photo from a woman named Margaret who is holding up a sign simply saying, "I'm about to turn 100 years old on July 17th and would like to receive 100 birthday cards."

The message also has an address listed as 350 Calloway Drive, Bakersfield, CA, 93312.
