A woman suffered moderate injuries after she was struck by a vehicle in east Bakersfield Sunday night. 

Bakersfield police say it happened just before 10:30 p.m. on Union Avenue, just south of California Avenue. 

BPD says the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities. 

Drugs or alcohol are not being considered factors in this crash.
