FRESNO, Calif. — A woman was injured after crashing into a school bus that was driving the wrong way on northbound SR-99 in Fresno.
According to California Highway Patrol, the crash happened on March 28 around 10:50 p.m. in Fresno. CHP says a school bus entered the northbound SR-99 ramp the from the Golden State Boulevard off-ramp. Shortly after, a 50-year-old woman in a Ford F-150 crashed into the school bus just south of Ashlan Boulevard. Before the crash the school bus was following behind another school bus who also entered the SR- 99 going the wrong way.
The woman in the Ford F-150 suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Officials say that both drivers were wearing seat belts and believe no alcohol or drugs were involved.
