The case involving a stabbing in Oildale Monday morning has been returned to the Kern County Sheriff’s Department for further review. The suspect will be released Wednesday night.
Abrianna Ringgold stabbed a man around 11 a.m. Monday. She was booked for first-degree murder after Kern County deputies found her hiding in a neighbor’s yard, near where the victim was found “bleeding profusely” in the roadway from multiple stab wounds.
The victim was taken to an area hospital with major injuries and later died.
