BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A woman sustained minor injuries after a domestic violence incident in Southwest Bakersfield early Saturday morning.

According to the Bakersfield Police Department, officers were called out to the 6400 block of Pine Borough Court in Southwest Bakersfield for a domestic violence incident.

When officers arrived, they determined a man had assaulted the woman with a knife. The woman sustained minor injuries.

The man was arrested at the scene.
