On Thursday, 8/11/16 at approximately 2046 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Flower Street regarding an injury accident.

Officers arrived and located a 60 year old female victim, who had been struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.

 

The female victim was transported to a local hospital where she was listed in critical condition.

 

A short time later, a 16 year old juvenile male, returned to the scene and admitted to being the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident. He was detained at the scene.

 

Investigation is continuing.
