Yosemite National Park is closed indefinitely due to the Ferguson Wildfire.
Park Officials announced the extended closure on Sunday, citing increased fire activity for the reason. In a news release, the park says all of the roads used to access Yosemite Valley have been impacted in some way by the fire. They say trees in the area could fall without warning posing a safety hazard to anyone who visits the area.
As of Sunday evening, the Ferguson fire has burned more than 89,000 acres and is 38 percent contained.
