MLB games at risk as Zika concern grows

Posted
Concerns about the Zika virus continue to grow, and now they could affect a pair of Major League Baseball games later this month.

Players from the Miami Marlins and Pittsburgh Pirates say they expressed concerns about their two game series in Puerto Rico.

The games are expected to happen, they're set for May 30th and 31st. Though, the teams, the MLB and the Players' Union are discussing the possibility of delaying or calling off the game, as players have serious health and safety concerns.

The first death in the US, related to Zika was reported last week in Puerto Rico.
