West of Bakersfield, and just off Taft Highway you'll find the most festive fall destination in Kern County. 

The place where thousands of families have been coming for generations to pick out the perfect pumpkin And usher in the holiday season—Because at Banducci’s family pumpkin patch, it’s all about family! 

Nancy Banducci turning the family farm, into a family pumpkin patch—one that has become a destination for school visits during the week—Turning this fun, into an educational opportunity to teach the importance of agriculture.

The Banducci family growing lot of pumpkins— 52-varieties in all—Those varieties of pumpkins grown just down the road in Shafter.

That effort yielding between 80 and 100-thousand pumpkins each year—sold on the family's beautiful 15-acre farm—one that features a pond, historic barn, historic cars and rustic wagons.

But it's the corn maze that has become a popular fixture in the last several years.

A legacy they say they plan to continue—Fall fun, and family traditions, made right here in Kern County.
