The holidays may seem a long way off, but many businesses are already gearing up for their busy season—and looking to add staff members for the next few months.

Big-name retailers that are hiring now include Best Buy, Kohl's, Macy's and JCPenney, to name a few.

Digital retailers like Amazon need more workers too, and many of those jobs are work-from-home, but Amazon is only hiring in a select number of states. Check their website to see if they're hiring where you live.

Delivery companies need extra help this time of year too, so don't forget to check out places like FedEx and UPS to pick up some extra work over the Christmas season.

Also, make sure to check out sites like Snagajob and Indeed for seasonal jobs. You'll find many places on there who get busier around the holidays.
