WTVC — A woman from Nashville, Tennessee was the surprise recipient of a free breakfast after an airmen's mother paid for her meal.
Heidi Goforth says she was in line at a Hermitage McDonald's buying breakfast for her son and when she pulled up to pay, her bill had already been paid for.
On the receipt handed to Goforth, the woman in front of her shared why she made the gesture. "My son is in the Air Force. I can't buy him breakfast so I bought yours. Have a blessed day," the receipt reads.
Goforth was touched by the gesture, sharing it on social media pages. "I hope the lady sees it (this story) and realizes you are talking about her," Goforth told WZTV. "She needs to know that she and our story touched so many people's lives."
In a Facebook post, Goforth says the woman's gesture "touched my heart so much," and added the woman's son is "lucky to have a mom that loves him so much. God bless you and him! Tell him thank you for his service."
