America loves hot dogs when celebrating its freedom.

People in the U.S. will eat 150 million of them on the July 4th holiday, according to personal finance website WalletHub.

The report also says Americans will spend $6.77 billion on food for the day. In the week prior, 700 million pounds of chicken will be purchased.

Also in WalletHub's report:

• $4.4 million is the annual value of imported American flags — most of which are made in China
• The value of annual fireworks imports to the U.S., mostly made in China, is more than $324 million 
• The majority of all annual fireworks injuries (67 percent) take place within a month of the July 4th holiday.
