Friends, celebrities and fans took to social media to offer their condolences and share memories of Florence Henderson, who died Thursday at age 82 from heart failure.

Henderson most notably played icon TV mom Carol Brady in "The Brady Bunch", a role that would define her for nearly 50 years.
Celebrities react to death of 'America's mom'
A number of the actors who played the Brady children mourned the loss of their TV mom, friend and colleague.
Maureen McCormick, who played oldest daughter Marcia Brady, took to Twitter to mourn her TV mom, friend and colleague.

Susan Olsen, who played youngest daughter Cindy Brady, took time to remember Henderson's children on her Facebook account.
Barry Williams, who played oldest son Greg Brady, also added his thoughts.

Christopher Knight, who played middle son Peter Brady expressed his sorrow.
