PHOENIX, Arizona (AP) — The Arizona long-term care facility where incapacitated woman was raped, gave birth to stay open through state oversight.

Phoenix police say a nurse has been arrested in connection with a patient who gave birth after a sexual assault at Hacienda Healthcare. The victim, an incapacitated woman who is 29 years old, had been at the facility since she was 3 years old.

The suspect is accused of sexually assaulting and impregnating an incapacitated woman at a Phoenix healthcare facility.
