NEW YORK (AP) — A person familiar with the request tells The Associated Press that lawyers for the baseball players' union asked Major League Baseball to submit a slew of financial documents that detail the industry's finances.

Cincinnati pitcher Trevor Bauer says owners have lots of ways to hide money.

Tampa Bay All-Star pitcher Blake Snell says he would not take the mound this year if his salary is cut further.
