NEW YORK, N.Y. – CNN anchor Chris Cuomo says he’s been diagnosed with COVID-19.

Cuomo made the announcement Tuesday morning on Twitter, saying that he was exposed to people in recent days who had also tested positive for the coronavirus.

Cuomo says he had a fever, chills and shortness of breaths, all symptoms associated with COVID-19.

Cuomo wrote that he just hopes that he didn’t give it to his three children or his wife, Cristina Greeven.

For now, he says he’s quarantined in his basement and he will anchor his shows from there.

“We will all beat this by being smart and tough and united,” wrote the anchor, who happens to be the brother of the governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo.
