The Defense Department wants to know more about unidentified aircraft encountered by military planes.
The task force will officially launch in the next few days and will be led by deputy defense secretary David Norquist. The department and members of the pentagon want to know more about the unidentified aircraft that appeared over military bases.
The Senate intelligence committee voted to support a public investigation into the suspicious and unknown aircraft earlier this year.
