Measure K passed in Tuesday night's election.
The measure will provide nearly $280 million to the Kern High School District.
Three fourths of classrooms at North High will be modernized and improved and Bakersfield High will also modernize 55 classrooms.
Some of the money will go toward two new district pools with undetermined locations.
Other district schools will also benefit from the measure.
