Measure M: Muroc Joint Unified School District

Posted

Bond Measure M would provide $21 million to the Muroc Joint Unified School District.

All of the money would go toward modernizing West Boron Elementary and Boron High School.

Both of the schools would be brought up to a 21st century standard. Air conditioning units, plumbing, doors, and other maintenance projects would be completed.

The cost to taxpayers is estimated to be $60 a year per $100,000 of assessed property value.

The bond needs 55% of votes to pass. Election day is November 8.
