Veterans with a service-related disability will get free access to the United States National Parks for life.

According to a report, the bipartisan Wounded Veterans Recreation Act passed the House and cleared the Senate. It just needs to be signed by the president.

On Veteran's Day, the federal government began allowing Gold Star families free admission.

Active-duty servicemembers already get into national parks for free.
