"Football may not happen this year."

Definitely not what fans want to hear, but that's exactly what Dr. Anthony Fauci said Thursday, warning about a second wave of coronavirus.

But the NFL seems more optimistic, even though some of their players recently tested positive for COVID-19.

Still, they say they're getting ready to play this season as scheduled and planning out a number of safety measures too, including developing a testing program.

Players are due to NFL training camp on July 22.

The regular season is set to kick off September 10, with the Kansas City Chiefs playing the Houston Texans.
