Ah, mid-April. The weather is thawing out, flowers are blooming and birds are chirping. It might be one of the best weeks of the year — with one exception.

Tax Day.

While no one likes dealing with IRS, this April 18 will have some benefits. If you’re looking to get the most out of your return, take advantage of these deals that businesses across the country will be offering on Tax Day.

Boston Market
Just as they did in 2015, Boston Market will be offering a special Tax Day deal on April 18 — $10.40 will get you a half chicken, two sides, cornbread a cookie and a regular fountain drink.

Bruegger’s
Bruegger’s Bagels has a $10.40 deal of its own on Tax Day. Between April 15 to April 18, those who sign up at Brueggers.com receive a baker’s dozen bagels (13) in addition to two tubs of cream cheese for just $10.40 — a savings of $3.50.

Chili's

Happy hour on Tax Day will be a little bit happier, as participating Chili's restaurants will be offering $5 Presidente Margaritas. Drink up, taxpayer.

Great American Cookie
Nothing will take your mind off the IRS like a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie. Participating locations of Great American Cookie will offer just that for free on Tax Day.

Hard Rock Café
Hard Rock Café is giving away free meals on Tax Day — but you’ll have to work for it. Those customers who want a free burger will have to sing their favorite song on stage on April 18 in front of the entire restaurant.

Kona Ice
Need to chill out after a stressful Tax Day? Kona Ice trucks across the country will be giving out free flavored shaved ice on April 18. In order to find the nearest truck on Tax Day, just tweet @KONAICE with your zip code and ask where the nearest truck is parked.

McDonald’s
While Mickey D’s is only offering Tax Day deals on a location-by-location basis, customers in Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio will get a Big Mac for 18 cents with the purchase of a second Big Mac. In northeast Ohio, customers will get either a Sausage McMuffin with egg or a Big Mac for 29 cents with the purchase of a second sandwich.

In addition, participating McDonald’s in Arizona, Vermont, Colorado and Wyoming are offering a free small coffee on April 18.

Schlotzsky’s
Schlotzsky’s knows that #TaxDayBites. They’re using the hashtag to spread the word that the sandwich shop will be giving away free “The Original” sandwiches, a 32 oz. drink and a bag of chips on April 18.

Stop by any Schlotzsky's location on Monday, April 18 and get a FREE small The Original with purchase of a 32-ounce...
