Apple has announced its newest iPhone. The iPhone 12 will come in four different variations this year. The new models range in price from $700 to $1,100.
Apple also discussed a new ceramic shield that will make the display glass stronger. The company said that it is four times more likely not to crack if the phone is dropped. The higher-end models will also feature advanced cameras.
The phone will also support 5G.
"When Apple gets into a market with a brand new feature like 5G support, it kind of tells the mainstream market, 'hey, it's time to wake up and really time to start spending some time thinking about upgrading your phone,'" said Mark Vena of Moor Insights.
The iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 Pro pre-orders will start Thursday and ship on October 23rd. The iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max preorders will begin on November 6th and ship on November 13.
