Donald Trump shined in Tuesday night's contests for the GOP nomination, taking home wins in Mississippi, Michigan and Hawaii.

Rival Ted Cruz, however, is refusing to go down without a fight -- the Texas senator managed to snatch up a victory in Idaho.

Meanwhile, in the Democratic race, Hillary Clinton picked up a win in Mississippi, while Bernie Sanders won over Michigan.

The biggest prize of the night for both parties was Michigan, which carries 59 delegates on the GOP side and 148 on the Democratic side.
