NEW YORK, N.Y. – One of the stars of Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing” is giving away a free year in New York City, so one lucky person can pursue their dreams without financial constraints.

Along with paying for the person’s apartment, food and transportation, Ryan Serhant says he and the Serhant Media Group team will mentor the winner.

Serhant believes he wouldn’t have become such a successful real estate broker had he not moved to New York about 14 years ago.

“This city has given me everything I have - a career, the most amazing family, and the ability to follow whatever dream I have every single day,” wrote Serhant. “BUT...I wouldn’t be here had I not moved here in 2006 with a little money saved up from summer jobs.”

Serhant specifies that this isn’t a lottery, but an application-based competition, where someone will be handpicked.

"This is your chance to go all in on yourself and focus solely on making it happen without any personal financial constraints," wrote Serhant.

To apply, first fill out the application at FreeYearNYC.com, then share Serhant’s last Instagram post in your story, and then tag someone who needs this opportunity in the comment section of the Instagram post. You must be at least 21 years old to apply.

The deadline to apply for the competition is Wednesday, Jan. 8. The winner will be announced on Jan. 22.
