Mother hears son's heart beat again over a decade after his death

Matthew Boylen died 11 years ago and his donated heart went into Lucy Boenitz. On Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, Boenitz meets Boylen's family for the first time and his family was able to hear his heart beat again.

INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indianapolis woman was finally able to thank the Ohio family whose son's heart has beat in her chest for over a decade.

Matthew Boylen died 11 years ago in a car accident in Ohio. His donated heart continues to beat in Indianapolis resident Lucy Boenitz.

On Saturday, Boenitz met Boylen's family for the first time.
